Emotions


What are emotions?
How is one to express them in meaningful terms?
That is the question I’ve asked myself
Many times before
Emotions
Emotions flare when you are
A mother of three
At home alone
And lonely
Emotions-dispair
When you try to reach out
To your other half and get… Shot down
Why?
Because he doesn’t understand
Your emotions
Emotions-sadness
Is when you hang up the phone
After your love calls
And just cry
Why?
Because you know not what to do
You have so much inside of you
Pain, anger, regret
You realize you ain’t seen nothing yet
But what to expect?
You just wait to see
